Why you should use Jewelry images...
I want to tell you a story, but one with a Happy ending!
I received an email from my big sister. She said, "Can your Valuation systems help me with a Welsh ring?"
She sounded a little distraught. "I've lost it and I can't find it anywhere. You know the one... Den bought me when we were on Holiday in West Wales."
Thankfully - we could!
Big Sisters should be obeyed - Well sometimes....
When we were developing the Valuation Appraisal Database and software, I grabbed any and every piece of jewelry I could, in order to check the program while it was still in beta testing.
Now this wasn't a H U G E L Y expensive ring (Not that Den, my brother-in-law wouldn't spend that kind of money, as he is a man on the land....) but it had sentimental value.
My sister loved it. It was a treasured gift from their special holiday. It even came from the 'Land of our Fathers' so to speak.
To her - it was Priceless and she would have done almost ANYTHING to get it back. Make me Welsh cakes even... (but that's another story).
Yes - you guessed it - It was in the database, complete with an image file - .jpeg of course!
Almost the hero....
Not only did we have all the measurements and statistics built into the Valuation Appraisal Kit so any good manufacturing Jeweler could make a replacement, but we also had the image file as well.
We could see what had to be replaced.
Do you know how many free lunches I could get with that?
DO YOU KNOW HOW GRATEFUL YOUR CLIENTS WOULD BE UNDER THE SAME CIRCUMSTANCES? THIS IS PRICELESS FOR YOU AND YOUR FUTURE BUSINESS. DON'T WASTE IT.
And all you have to do is upload a simple image file. Takes 20 seconds - tops!
It's all there for you to use. It costs no extra. It's FREE.
There is NO instant benefit, but heck, the Good Will and word of mouth that something like this generates is B I G G E R than my brother-in-laws back yard!
Go with the flow people. This stuff really works.
You have to build a long term relationship with your customers.
Don't simply sell and say "Thank you for your credit card details."
These people will buy from you again and again with good service. They'll also come back and have YOU value their other Jewelry PLUS renew again next year, and maybe the year after.
Oh, and just for the record - My sister found her ring.
Bummer! I really wanted those Welsh cakes.....
