Personal Details - And Why Are They Worth Twice the Price?

Very often people forget or ignore the advantages of the Personal Details page. They either DON'T set their defaults inside the B2b area or they can't see any gain...

Retail Valuations inside 20 minutes

In the first diagram (below) I mentioned that you can't change the two main default fields.

Some may wonder why you would want to?

The answer is 'Building your Business'

We have several Jewelry Stores and Shops who are lucky enough to have the Internet available in store. These B2b clients advertise Appraisal Valuations as part of their service (at a good profit too).

A Customer comes into the store (which also brings them back) and after the take-in procedure on their Jewelry, is told to return in 20 minutes for their completed Appraisal.

How many Stores can offer that fast a service?

With the Certificate Letterhead changed to the Store name, all the shop keeper or retailer has to do is put the client details on the Personal Information page and complete the Kit.

How hard was that? AND HOW PROFITABLE!

Last Advice for Profits

But... but.... but (I can hear you).

What if we don't have a retail outlet? What can we do then, if we are selling on eBay or the Markets?

Use the Check box on the Summary page.

This has the advantage of pre-appraising your Jewelry with a Full Certificate Personalized to your Business Letterhead, but with blanked-out details to the top.

A Customer purchases your Jewelry and you simply use your pen to fill in their details (name, address etc) to identify the owner.

Couldn't be easier - or more personal.

But remember the warning above. The check box must be the VERY LAST THING you do BEFORE you Print, otherwise (if you jump out of the Kit to do something else for example) and then come back in again, the check box is automatically reset to print the original default details.

So if your business needs all the details - set them once in the defaults and you'll never have to type them in again.

But if your business needs pre-appraisals to help you in the selling process, just click on the check box to get blanked-out details.

Either way - The Kit has got your Business covered.

If you found this Hint to be helpful, please pass it on to someone else who might benefit from such information.

Just don't give it to your competition ;-)
